Welcome to Historic First Presbyterian Church

Our hope is that this information will give you a valuable glimpse into the life of our church and the ministries God has called us to in the center city. While many other churches have vacated the urban areas for the burgeoning suburbs, Historic First Presbyterian Church has remained committed to the downtown area since its founding in 1879.

By God's grace we are 128-years-young and experiencing, daily, the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We are a unique body of believers in that we come together from all walks of life and from, literally, all corners of the Valley to worship, study the scriptures, fellowship with one another and minister in the community. We seek to magnify and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in all we do. We share our faith with others and encourage them to accept Christ as their personal savior. And we endeavor to always be providing new opportunities for all to foster their spiritual growth and maturity.
